Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hastings and Prince Edward Counties (BBBSHPEC) fosters, facilitates, and supports diverse mentoring programs for children and youth in need, within our communities. We are currently seeking volunteer Board and Committee Members.  Membership is open to residents of Hastings and Prince Edward counties.  Our Board meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month in Belleville.

Our agency continues to experience significant growth across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.  This ongoing growth requires a Board of Directors and Committee Members that reflects the broad interests and needs of Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. 

If you feel that you have the unique perspective, skills or experience that would be useful on our board or committees, we encourage you contact Cheryl Whiteman, Executive Director at  Cheryl.whiteman@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca, or 613-962-3666 for an application process package.  All responses will be treated as confidential. Please note a screening process must occur, there is no guarantee of acceptance.

BFKS 2012 Event Update

 

Thank you to everyone that came out and “Stepped Up To Strike Out Bullying! We have an estimated event Total Raised just under $30,000! Congratulations to our winners as listed above. Along with all of your outstanding pledge collecting efforts our Board and Staff contributed over $6000.00.  Be sure to check out our Facebook page for pictures of our great event. 14th Annual Trivia Night Challenge Update

 The numbers are in!!! What a successful night! Our overall total funds raised $3000.00! Congratulations to our 50/50 Winner Brian Rorabeck of Trenton! He graciously donated a portion of his winnings back to our agency! A BIG thanks to all our contributors, we are completely appreciative of all your help and hard work that went into our event. We look forward to next years challenge!
